I Idly open old files, and found some notes of the answer of daily tests of Islamic subjects in my 1st Semester at Biology UM, in addition to questions about the scientific tradition in Islam, and Democracy in Islam, the other question is about the phenomenon of secularism. Here's an answer that I wrote, I share to all readers, though short, I hope it bring some benefits. :)
The battle between religious values and secular values have been increasingly evident in recent years, as a student I would not be compromise on secularism, because in fact Islam is perfect, it has set all kinds of rules about people. In Islam has set about man's relationship with God, with other human beings and human beings with the environment. So it is necessary for us to use only the values of religion without the slightest accept the values of non-religious (secular).
God has told us in the Qur'an that we must do religious values in full without any compromise, as stated in the Qur'an An Nisaa verse 150 and 151;
Verily those who disbelieve in Allah and His Messengers, and desire to make division between Allah and His Messengers, and say: ' We believe in some and disbelieve in others ', and seek to choose a way in between; These are, in truth, infidels, and We have prepared for the infidels disgraceful chastisement.
So obviously we should not be compromising on the values of secularism. We must completely eliminate the secular values of our lives, in other words we should isolate ourselves from secularism because it will lead us away from religious values that are noble and blessed by God .
